During my time in the DLL/ADL program, I have done research and written three literature reviews over flipped classrooms. Each one has a slightly different focus depending on the class it was written for, but they all gave me good information and an insight into how flipped classrooms have been utilized around the world.
Literature Review 1 - EDLD 5305

This literature review looks at the definition of a flipped classroom and how to create one. I looked at the considerations that need to be addressed for both teacher and students. I also looked into the benefits that have been shown to happen both inside and outside the classroom based on several articles I found from around the world.
Literature Review #2

This literature review written for EDLD 5314 has a few elements that are the same as the first review, but this one is focused more on how flipped classrooms have been used in the global perspective. I discuss both the benefits and barriers to implementation. I point out what has worked and what could have gone better with their attempts at a flipped classroom. I look at how to apply the lessons learn and address gaps that may still exist in the research.
Literature Review #3

This informal literature review was done in order to see what kinds of action research had been conducted on flipped classrooms by others. I looked at how student learning, engagement, and motivation were impacted by flipped classrooms. The action research discussed student reactions to the process as well. I mention some of the limitations and considerations I believed impacted the research done.
